Navien Tankless Water Heaters
The Navien NPE-2 and NPN series high-efficiency tankless water heaters deliver unlimited domestic hot water while lowering your utility expenditures.
Condensing or Non-Condensing ?
How Does a Condensing Tankless Water Heater Work ?
The tankless water heater senses when a hot water tap is opened. The flow sensor turns on to determine how much hot water is required. The igniter fires up.The gas control valve opens, allowing the proper amount of gas to be delivered.
To give the proper amount of gas and fuel, the fan and venturi turn on. The premix burner fires up and creates a flame to heat the water. In the secondary heat exchanger, cold water is preheated. Water that has been preheated is transferred from the secondary to the primary heat exchanger.
The machine calculates the outgoing set temperature before adjusting the flame to heat the water. The buffer tank receives heated water. The Amount of hot water that you want is then sent to the faucet.
How Does a Non-Condensing Tankless Water Heater Work ?
The tankless water heater senses when a hot water tap is opened. The flow sensor turns on to detect how much hot water is required. The Ignitor turns on. To deliver the right amount of gas, the gas control valve opens. The burner lights up, creating a flame that heats the water.
The heat exchanger is filled with cold water.
The machine calculates the outgoing set temperature before adjusting the flame to heat the water. The desired amount of hot water is subsequently delivered to the faucet.
Three NPE-A2 Advanced Premium versions with Navien’s unique ComfortFlow technology have a Uniform Energy Factor of up to.95.
Four NPE-S2 Standard Premium models have a Uniform Energy Factor of up to.96, resulting in increased production, cheaper installation and operational costs.
Premium non-condensing tankless water heaters from NPN-U (Universal) provide a small tankless option for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Non-condensing NPN-E (Exterior) tankless water heaters provide a small tankless option for outdoor applications.
Lower Energy Bills, and Greener for the Planet.
Navien stainless steel condensing heat exchangers recover heat that would otherwise be wasted in non-condensing boilers.
As a consequence, energy consumption is reduced, CO2 emissions are reduced, and exhaust temperatures are reduced, allowing for the use of less expensive venting materials like Schedule 40 PVC.
